Chris Pratt “leaves wedding planning to Katherine Schwarzenegger” because he has no time

Chris Pratt announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger earlier this year, after around seven months together. But the Avengers actor revealed he ‘barely has time’ to plan their upcoming wedding, leaving it all up to his wife-to-be – which is not ideal. Speaking about their ceremony, the 39-year-old confessed he’s been too busy to organise their big day, thanks to work. When asked if he’d had time to get planning, he confessed to Us Weekly: ‘Oh, barely!’

But he might want to get a move on with the whole thing, as he explained they were thinking of tying the knot later this year. Previously discussing their wedding, he said: ‘We’re maybe [thinking of a] fall, winter kind of thing. We have a lot to get done.’ Yeah, you really, really do… Chris – who is dad to son Jack, whom he shares with ex Anna Faris – also opened up on plans to start a huge family with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter. ‘Oh. Lots of kids,’ he told Entertainment Tonight when asked about their future plans. ‘Maybe less time spent working, more time spent enjoying life.’

‘I always want to be that guy that works to live, not lives to work. ‘I think [I want to spend] just a lot of time at the farm and a lot of time catching a lot of fish and seeing lots of sunsets.’ Not a shabby way to spend your time… Chris and Katherine announced their happy news in January, with the Parks And Recreation actor sharing a sweet photo of himself and the author on Instagram – as she flashed her engagement ring.

‘Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you,’ he captioned the upload. ‘Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!’ And his ex-wife, Anna, was one of the first to congratulate the lovebirds – even offering to officiate their wedding. She said: ‘Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, “I proposed to Katherine last night,” I was like, “Ah! That’s amazing.” And I texted him back, “Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.” ‘I so subscribe to the idea of expanding family and love with Jack, I’m just so happy. We’re all really happy. I knew that it was going to happen, I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other. They’re both f***ing amazing people, the truth is there isn’t any bitterness.’
